The manual winding Richard Mille RM 052 “Skull” in titanium is a rare limited edition piece. Featuring the iconic skull design which has become a recogonisable symbol of the Richard Mille brand. Its tripartite tonneau shaped case is constructed from titanium and measures 50.0 x 42.7 x 15.95mm and is assembled with 20 spline screws in grade 5 titanium. The skull shaped baseplate crafted in titanium is not purely a design element it is integrated into the movement. The upper and lower jaws hold the ruby of the tourbillon cage, whilst the back of the skull is actually the movement’s center bridge. The four bridges that connect the movement to the case are arranged in a “skull-and-crossbones” pattern inspired by flags from pirate ships. The power behind this timepiece is the Calibre RM052 a manual winding tourbillon movement offering hours and minutes. Water-resistant to 50 meters due to the application of two O-ring seals and it has a power reserve of up to 48 hours. Complemented by a black rubber vented strap and secured with a titanium pin buckle.
